Renovation of an institute building in Aachen
Repair of one of the oldest institute buildings – built in 1936 – at RWTH Aachen University
The Institute for Electrical Machines (IEM) had to be renovated. This included the refurbishment of the roof, facades, entrance areas and the interior fittings.
The work had to be carried out in accordance with the comprehensive preservation orders for listed buildings. The renovation was effected during ongoing operations in the Institute.
